Event Assistant
£21K - £25K depending on experience + additional benefits, full time, permanent
Hybrid working 2 days office based in Rye, East Sussex

The role: Event Assistant
As one of our Event Assistants, you will support our Event Managers bring events to life whether they’re virtual or physical, by producing conferences and social events delivered to audiences virtually or around the globe.
On the other side of the event spectrum, you will be able to develop your tech skills by delivering a range of engaging digital events.
This is a fantastic role for those with limited or even no events related experience, but willing to start making their mark in this exciting industry.
What this role involves
This is a broad role involving assisting with research, contract negotiation, support with budget management and logistics management.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and clients.
Supporting events on-site, in the UK and overseas.
Supporting virtual events.
You will report directly to the Operations Team Manager and assist members of the team as required
We are looking for
High proficiency at using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
High level of computer literacy as you will build registration sites, personalise virtual platforms and apps as part of your role and use our on-line collaboration system.
Ability to prioritise and multitask, accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
Proactive, confident, solution-driven approach.
Highly motivated team player that enjoys working as part of a small team.
You will be located within a one-hour commute of Rye, East Sussex
…and it would be absolutely amazing if you were also able to communicate fluently in either Spanish or French.
